Live TV · Movies · Series
Add your own provider or playlist to bring your live TV, movies and series together — beautifully, on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Android.
Qivo plays the sources you add. It doesn't come with channels or content.
Bring your own provider
Qivo is a player: it doesn't come with channels or content. Connect the service you already use, and Qivo turns it into a library that's a joy to browse.
Sign in with the server address, username and password your provider sent you.
Paste your playlist link, plus a TV guide link if your provider has one.
Add as many as you like. Their channels, guide, movies and series come together in a single library.
Live TV
Flick through your channels with a live preview, see what's on now and next, and plan the evening in a full TV guide.
A timeline of every channel with a live “now” line on iPad, Mac and Android tablets. On TV, just focus a channel to preview it.
Star channels to build your own line-up.
Jump straight back to what you watched last.
Keep watching in a floating player while you browse, on phones, tablets and Mac.
Movies & Series
Your provider's movies and series as a library worth browsing, with artwork, plots, cast, seasons and episodes wherever your provider has them.
Pick up right where you left off.
Save movies and series for later with a single tap.
As the credits roll, the next episode counts down and starts on its own — or turn autoplay off.
Made for you
Find channels, movies and series in one place, with the best match right at the top.
Choose which categories to show, and star your favourites to pin them to the top of Live TV, Movies and Series.
Part of Qivo Premium, though choosing categories is free for your first 21 days.
Download movies and episodes, or record a channel now, from the guide or at a time you choose — and watch without a connection.
On iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android. A recording uses one of your provider's connections, and on iPhone and iPad Qivo stays open while it records.
Five accent themes, poster sizes and a slowly drifting ambient background. Try the accents on this page:
Your provider logins sync through iCloud Keychain on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and are saved with Google Block Store on Android, so a new device can fill them in for you.
On Android they're backed up end-to-end encrypted to your Google Account when the device has a screen lock. Not on devices without Google Play services.
No Qivo account to create, and no tracking across other apps. To show what's trending, the apps share only the IMDb or TMDB ID of what you watch, anonymously, and you can turn that off. Usage statistics through Google Analytics tell us which features are used, never what you watch or search for. Free users see ads from Google on phones and tablets: Google's ads, Cast and Play components receive some information from your device, as the Privacy Policy explains.
Every screen
Designed for each device rather than stretched from a phone: one-handed on your phone, a guide grid on tablets and Mac, and a lean-back interface on TV.
Questions
No. Qivo is a media player: it doesn't provide any channels, video content, playlists or streaming services. You add the provider or playlist you already have.
The Xtream Codes details your provider sent you (server address, username and password), or a link to an M3U playlist. You can add more than one.
No. There's nothing to sign up for: just add your provider in the app.
Qivo is free to use. On iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets, free users see occasional ads after a 21-day welcome period, only while browsing and never while watching. Apple TV, Mac, Android TV and Google TV have none, and Qivo Premium removes them. On phones and tablets you can also choose to watch a short ad to unlock a single download, recording, Picture in Picture or cast, without Premium.
No ads, choosing which categories to show (free for your first 21 days), favourite categories, multiple providers (the first one is free), Picture in Picture, audio and subtitle choice, programme reminders, recording, offline downloads, and AirPlay (on iPhone and iPad), Chromecast and external displays on phones and tablets. What you've downloaded or recorded with it keeps working without it. It's a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it.
